Even though their English wasn't fluent, they used a phone app to translate and communicate with me. They even let us watch the World Cup match on the rooftop until 1 AM, which was really great."

"A nice hotel a short walk from the town centre. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped and, being on the second floor, had a level of natural light and a partial view of the sea. The outside, paved areas were sensitively laid out and featured a number of attractive sculptures. There was a good breakfast with a wide range of options. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and welcoming. There were also a number of printed guides giving information about local walks etc. Our only criticism was that the bathroom was rather cramped."

Recommended All the staff were great but a special mention to Eleni & Vicki on reception who were a great source of local information, happy to chat and always gave a warm welcome Breakfasts were really good with a selection of hot & cold food. Loved the fresh orange juice , the homemade cakes and avacado cheese tomato on toast Pool pretty small but there aren’t loads of guests so no problem getting a sun bed. Pool towels provided Room was very clean with linen, towels changed every few days. Best shower I’ve ever experienced in Greece. Coffee maker but would have liked a kettle as well Pita Griil (recommended) & small supermarket just over the road. Sandy beach, more supermarkets restaurants 200 yards with a frequent bus service to Chania Town for 1.5 euro"

"Very nice, clean and fresh accommodation. Cleaning was done every day, which was too often. Cleaning every 3rd day would be enough. Close to everything; pool, beach and Agia Marina's offerings. Nice and helpful staff. Communication between Trip.com and the accommodation broke down at check-in but the staff at the reception resolved it. A great place! Highly recommended!"

"Vacation from 22.7 to 1.08 5 days bungalow 5 days tent I cooked myself in the kitchen I liked the place next to a super beach without crowds of people Friendly attitude of the camping staff The only place in the Chania area with affordable prices The main thing is that we booked by simple agreement They responded promptly to all questions in correspondence I will come again if possible Thanks to Mike and Nikas They are the owners and they themselves are not lazy in their work I recommend"

The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"

"Our second visit to Aloe hotel and it is still amazing! We received a very kind room upgrade as returning guests to a sea view split level room which was extremely kind of the management. The attention to detail at this hotels is 5 star and the staff go out of their way to make your stay special and as comfortable as possible. We love all the restaurants nearby and this time hired a car and visited places in the area. We will definitely be back and will stay at Aloe - thank you again to the whole Aloe team! 5 star all the way."

"We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Abella. This is a comfortable, clean and relaxing place to stay in Agia Marina. The vibe here is pure relaxation and enjoyment which is cultivated by Natalie and Kostas, who go out of their way to ensure their guests have a wonderful time. They are always on hand to offer advice on places to eat and visit. We were so impressed with the high standards of cleanliness around the pool area. Kostas maintains and cleans the pools daily. The Hotel is rich in Family tradition and history and has lots of repeat guests, some of which we had the pleasure to meet during our visit. Theodore and Elanyi do a great job of looking after guests at the bar and the happy hour from 6-8 pm is great value. Thank you so much to all at the Abella for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The in house restaurants of wave ( perfect for lunch ) cuigni , amazing Italian food and my place where I have to say I enjoyed some of the best cocktails . The rooms are lovely clean and modern . My only negative was around the pool , the sun loungers were quite cramped and not Many parasols , if you wanted to make sure you had one , you had to place your towel super early pre 8am …. But overall a lovely hotel and would recommend"

"The location is very remote and need to walk a minimum 10 minutes before finding 2 small shops. 10 minute bus ride into plantarias where a lot more shops available. The staff are all very friendly and polite. The staff work hard, the lifeguards take their job seriously and do an amazing job. The rooms are tiny, double bed and a small single. No sofa / chair to sit on while getting ready. The balcony is approx 1m squared and again very small. The food I thought was great. Some stuff the same everyday but majority rotated and cannot complain about the service. My son is was poorly and needed to see a dr and the hotel was very informative and the Jet2 rep (Veronica) helped us by calling ahead and checking the price. Cannot really fault any of the holiday that the resort could control."
